It was the ultimate chance to get away from the difficulties of life. But there comes a moment when you can’t run anymore, when you have to go back and face the music.
Her family needs her. It’s time for Georgie to go home. Except life with the Doctor means nothing is ever simple and in the throes of a heart-breaking reunion, Georgie will face the toughest choice of her life.
And when she encounters a problem even the Doctor can’t solve, will she be able the resist the temptation of a happy ending that will have disastrous consequences for the rest of the planet?

Has humanity’s end come? And will the Doctor be the author of it?

As snow falls on an abandoned hotel, Hastings, a private detective, prepares to interrogate three people he is holding against their will. Suspecting a connection between them and a mysterious thief known as The Fireman, he won’t give up until he has answers to all of his questions.
Yet Dellah, Raphael and Leonie have quite the story to tell: of ethereal voices in the storm, of two strangers from another time, of a devastating avalanche and of the menacing force of the Ushanra.
But how much can Hastings trust their tall tale? There’s no such thing as aliens and there’s nothing out in the snow, right? And all this talk of the Doctor and Georgie is made up, isn’t it?
